The Sermon Script Writing Competition is open to individuals who are interested in exploring the integration of mental health, psychology, and Islamic perspectives. This competition encourages participants to connect mental health concepts with Islamic teachings and examine their relevance within society. The application of good mental health practices in everyday life is expected to raise awareness and contribute positively to the community.

1, Competition Category 

This competition is open to the general public, including students and non-students who have an interest in psychology, Islamic studies, or related fields.

2. Theme

Mental Health Across Cultures: Integrating Science and Spirituality

3. General Requirements

  • The competition is open to the public (students and non-students).
  • Participants may join individually.
  • Each participant/team may submit only one (1) script.
  • Participants are encouraged to follow the official social media accounts of the organizing committee for updates.
  • The submitted work must not be entered in other competitions.
  • Participants may include a mentor (optional, if applicable).

4. Specific Requirements

  • The script must be an original work and has not been published elsewhere.
  • The maximum length is 1500 words (excluding prayers and Arabic text).
  • The script must be written in proper Indonesian language in accordance with standard writing guidelines.
  • Submission must be in PDF format.
  • The script must include
  • Verses from the Qur’an
  • Hadith
  • Explanations supported by recognized tafsir (interpretations)

    5. Formatting Requirements:

    • Font: Times New Roman, size 12
    • Include First and Second Khutbah
    • Margins: 2 cm on all sides
    • Use APA 7th edition citation style
    • Include a plagiarism report (Turnitin) with a maximum similarity of 20%
    • The committee reserves the right to publish submitted works with proper author credit.

      6. Competition Rules

      • The submitted script must be original and unpublished.
      • The work must be the participant’s own and submitted before the deadline.
      • Submissions must comply with all competition guidelines.
      • Any violation will result in disqualification.
