1. Theme

Mental Health

2. SCOPE

  • Educational Psychology ( Issues related to learning, motivation, academic well-being, school mental health, or educational interventions)
  • Developmental Psychology (Topics on psychological development across the lifespan, risk factors, resilience, or developmental psychopathology)
  • Social Psychology (Discussions on social behavior, interpersonal dynamics, community mental health, stigma, or social influences on well-being)
  • Clinical Psychology (Topics such as assessment, diagnosis, intervention strategies, mental health disorders, and therapy models)
  • Industrial and Organizational Psychology (Mental health in the workplace, well-being, work stress, burnout, organizational behavior, and employee support systems)

3. General Requirements

All participants must adhere to the following general rules

A. Participant Eligibility

  1. Open to active students from Muhammadiyah – ‘Aisyiyah Universities (PTMA) and non-PTMA institutions, both national and international.
  2. Open to undergraduates of psychology.
  3. Participants must provide proof of active student status.

B. Submission Rules

  1. Each university may send participants individually or in teams. 
  2. Each participant or team may submit only one article.
  3. Every submission must include the name of an academic advisor and must comply with all general rules and guidelines established by the committee.

C. Theme Alignment

Participants are free to choose their article title as long as it aligns with the main theme and falls within the defined psychological scope

D. Information and Updates

  • All participants are required to follow the official instagram account: @psikologiuhamka
  • for updates, announcements, and technical information.

4. ARTICLE REQUIREMENTS

A. Originality

  • The article must be original, not plagiarized, and not previously published in any journal, proceeding, or competition.
  • Maximum similarity index are 20% (to be checked by the committee)

B, Types of Articles

  • Research article
  • Literature Review
  • Conceptual paper
  • All content must be aligned with the theme.

C. Writing Format

  • Language: English or Indonesian
  • Length: 8-15 pages, including references
  • Spacing: 1,15
  • Font: Times New Roman, 12 pt
  • Margins: 4 – 3 – 3 – 3 cm (left –  top – right – bottom)
  • File format: PDF
  • References Style: APA 7th edition

D. Article Structure

  • Title
  • Author(s) name & institutional affiliation
  • Abstract (150-250 words, 3-5 keywords)
  • Introduction
  • Methods (for research articles) or Conceptual frameworks (for theoretical papers)
  • Results and Discussion
  • Conclusion and Recommendations
  • References (APA 7th edition)

5. COMPETITION MECHANISM

  • File submissions Articles must be submitted using the following file naming format: Artikel_Nama Universitas_Nama Ketua Tim
  • Submission Deadline All participants are required to submit their work before the specified deadline. Late submissions will not be accepted under any circumstances.
  • Violation and Disqualification If at any point the organizing committee discovers any form of violation, such as plagiarism, falsification of data, multiple submissions, or failure to comply with competition rules, the committee reserves the right to disqualify the participant or team without prior notice.
